The level of water in the Aral Sea has risen by 48 cm, informs the official website of the governorate of the Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan.
According to the information, the head of the Aral-Syrdarya Basin Inspectorate Zeynulla Kaztoganov said that from October 2022 to date, the water level in the sea has risen to 40.90 mBS, or 48 cm, and the volume of collected water amounted to 19.7 billion cubic meters.
