Turkmenistan’s Majlis hosted a meeting between parliamentary representatives and André Algermissen, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s regional representative for Central Asia.
As reported by THP, the discussions centered on Turkmenistan’s key environmental policy priorities, including ecological protection, environmental security, and international partnership.
The Turkmen side briefed the guest on national measures to address climate change, reduce methane emissions, and combat desertification, while also highlighting ongoing work to modernize environmental legislation in line with international standards.
