President of Turkmenistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, congratulated graduates of the country’s military and law-enforcement higher education institutions, calling on them to faithfully serve the nation and safeguard its independence, sovereignty, and constitutional order.
In a message addressed to graduates, officers, and faculty members, the President praised the successful completion of studies at the Military Academy of Turkmenistan and other institutions that train specialists for the armed forces and law-enforcement agencies. He also congratulated the graduates on receiving their first officer ranks and embarking on professional careers.
“Your sacred duty is to strictly adhere to the principles of the Motherland’s defensive Military Doctrine,” Berdimuhamedov said, stressing the importance of protecting national values, preserving public order, and ensuring the security and peaceful life of citizens.
The President described service to the homeland as a great honor and emphasized the government’s continuing efforts to improve the living and service conditions of military personnel and their families. He cited the recent opening of new facilities for defense and law-enforcement agencies as evidence of state support for the country’s defenders.
Referring to Turkmenistan’s historical figures and military leaders, Berdimuhamedov urged graduates to continue the traditions of patriotism and courage established by their ancestors. He expressed confidence that they would become “an invincible fortress and steel shield” protecting the country’s peace and territorial integrity.
Addressing professors and instructors, the President highlighted the importance of modernizing military education through the use of science, technology, and digital systems.
