With its stunning natural landscapes, sun-drenched Blue Flag beaches, fascinating ancient sites, and rich cultural heritage, Antalya effortlessly blends history, nature, and modern comfort. Complemented by its refined Mediterranean cuisine and world-class resorts offering exceptional luxury, the city stands out as one of the most captivating destinations on the Turkish Riviera—and a true flagship of Türkiye’s tourism scene. But there’s more to that. With a well-established convention ecosystem encompassing more than 300 five-star hotels and over 175,000 seats, Antalya also offers an exceptional infrastructure for business travel. Having successfully hosted high-profile international events such as the G20 Summit, the city has earned a strong reputation as a reliable global meeting hub.
Building on this strength, Antalya continues to stand out as a premier destination for a wide spectrum of national and international events—from global conferences and leading cultural and arts festivals to major sporting events, ensuring a dynamic and richly diverse calendar throughout 2026. Among the major gatherings Antalya will host are Sports & Events Türkiye, Türkiye’s first international sports tourism fair, on May 31– June 3, 2026, the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) on October 5–9, and the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP31) on November 9–20. Antalya will also host various cultural and arts events, such as the world-renowned Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival, as well as major sporting events, including the Runtalya Marathon and the Turkish Airlines Open golf tournament.
IX. Antalya Fashion Week (IX. AFW): A Global Stage for Fashion

Amid this dynamic event calendar, Antalya continues to serve as a hub for long-standing international organisations. One of these is Antalya Fashion Week, which will welcome its guests with its 9th edition, taking place from June 2–4. Looking ahead to its 2026 vision, IX. Antalya Fashion Week aims to showcase Antalya’s culture, multicultural spirit, and unique geography on the global fashion stage.
Complementing its cultural positioning, the IX Antalya Fashion Week (AFW) will introduce innovative programmes that reinforce a seasonless approach to fashion, reinterpreting the spirit of Antalya through exclusive runway shows in historic venues, alongside workshops and creative collaborations. With leading Turkish designers as well as designers from various countries, primarily Russia, the United Arab Emirates, and Kazakhstan, Antalya Fashion Week will once again strongly demonstrate its growing international vision.
