On 7 January 2026, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkmenistan Ms.Faryal Leghari.
The parties discussed issues related to preparations for the visits at the highest state level scheduled for this year, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues in the context of further implementation of joint measures to promote bilateral ties in the new year.
Special emphasis was placed on holding the sixth meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Pakistani Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, political consultations at the level of the foreign ministers, as well as the Turkmen-Pakistani Business Forum.
In addition, the list of bilateral documents scheduled for signing this year was reviewed. ///nCa, 7 January 2026
