Founded in London in 1970, Argus is one of the world’s leading independent price reporting agencies. The company operates 32 offices in key commodity trading hubs and employs over 1,500 specialists. Argus price assessments serve as benchmarks for transactions across the energy, commodity trading, and transportation sectors.
Argus data is also utilized in Turkmenistan to determine export prices for crude oil, petroleum products, LPG, and petrochemical products. The methodology used to calculate these price assessments undergoes an annual independent audit to ensure compliance with the principles of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).
