Turkmenistan’s Ambassador Sapar Palvanov met with Germany’s Permanent Representative to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Thomas Schieb, in The Hague.
The gathering, THP informs, also included ambassadors and permanent representatives of other Central Asian states accredited to the OPCW.
Discussions covered the organization’s ongoing activities, its contribution to international security, and the respective roles of Germany and Central Asian nations in advancing the OPCW’s mandate. Particular focus was placed on future cooperation in chemical safety, including knowledge exchange, capacity building, and professional networking.
