Turkmenistan Highlights Strategic Partnership & Neutrality
Heading the Turkmen delegation, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, emphasized her nation’s commitment to fostering stable, constructive interstate relations grounded in mutual benefit and good-neighborliness.
Representing Turkmenistan’s foreign policy principles, Gulmanova noted that legislative bodies play a critical role in providing a solid legal framework to support sustainable development goals, regional peace, and trade expansion.
“The participation of the Turkmen delegation reflects the country’s commitment to developing constructive interstate dialogue, strengthening interparliamentary ties, and further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with the countries of Central Asia.”
Ahead of the plenary session, Chairperson Gulmanova met directly with Rustam Emomali to discuss bilateral parliamentary mechanisms and joint legislative initiatives aimed at bolstering economic and cultural cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
