National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çalık Holding, TDH reports.
The talks took place within the framework of Berdimuhamedov’s visit to the Netherlands.
Ahmet Çalık expressed gratitude for the invitation to the first Akhalteke Equestrian World Championship and noted the high level of organization of European events aimed at popularizing the Akhalteke breed.
During the conversation, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan builds its foreign economic relations on the principles of equality and mutual benefit.
At the same time, it was stressed that the friendly, historical relations between two fraternal states — Turkmenistan and Türkiye — are developing successfully across a number of areas.
In turn, the head of the Turkish holding confirmed the company’s readiness to strictly fulfill all contractual obligations and continue working on joint projects in Turkmenistan. /// nCa, 7 September 2026
