In this context, I would like to inform you that our competent delegation will take part in the international conference “Global Mountain Dialogue for Sustainable Development”, which will be held on April 24-25 in Bishkek, – Heroy-Arkadag emphasized, expressing confidence that this conference will become a key stage in preparation for the Second Global Bishkek Mountain Summit “Bishkek+25”, scheduled for 2027.
We note the need to coordinate joint actions on issues of peace and security in Central Asia and the importance of the Consultative Meetings of the Heads of State of Central Asia, continued the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty. In this regard, the importance of the Concept for the Development of Regional Cooperation “Central Asia – 2040” and the Roadmap for the Development of Regional Cooperation for 2025-2027 adopted at the Sixth Consultative Meeting in August 2024 in Astana was emphasized.
Hero-Arkadag also reported that at the beginning of August this year, an international conference under the auspices of the United Nations and chaired by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on landlocked developing countries will be held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, and invited the President of the Kyrgyz Republic to take part in it.
Having congratulated the head of the friendly state on the start of a large-scale project to build the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan transcontinental railway, Hero-Arkadag noted the importance of joint work on the further development of transport and transit corridors, proposing to create a local logistics center.
The transport sector occupies a significant place in our cooperation. We see huge potential in the transport and logistics sector of our region. Therefore, we believe it is necessary to more effectively use the capabilities of the Central Asia – Middle East transport and transit corridor. In this context, the Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan route with access to seaports in the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea is a strategically important step. We are ready to create mutually acceptable conditions for using the infrastructure capabilities of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, – said Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Thus, through the efforts of the parties, a Joint Turkmen-Kyrgyz Commission on Transport, Transit and Logistics was created, the first meeting of which will be held on April 28-30 of this year in Bishkek.
In this regard, proposals were made to establish a closer partnership between the business communities of the two countries, which would serve the sustainable socio-economic development of the two countries.
It was also proposed to hold joint events dedicated to the memory of outstanding individuals who made a significant contribution to the development of our countries.
We are pleased to invite the national teams of the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in various competitions and training camps held in our country. This will not only strengthen sports ties, but will also become a symbol of friendship and cooperation between our peoples, – noted the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
In conclusion, Hero-Arkadag emphasized that Turkmenistan, as before, remains open to further mutually beneficial and equal cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic in all areas.

Along the road leading to the equestrian complex, song and music performances by masters of the arts of a friendly country unfolded, in which the national traditions of peoples connected by a common history and culture, as well as interstate relations successfully developing in the modern era, were celebrated.
The compositions reflect the rich past, customs and traditions of the Kyrgyz people, which became clear evidence of the cultural ties between the two fraternal peoples.
The hippodrome, with a total capacity of 10 thousand people, is located 270 kilometers from the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bishkek, and occupies an area of twenty-five hectares.
The complex was built after the organization of the 1st World Nomad Games in 2014. Today, holding major international competitions in ethnic sports of the peoples of Central Asia, initiated by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in order to revive and preserve the culture of nomadic civilization, has become a good tradition, contributing to the strengthening of cultural ties and mutual understanding between the peoples of different countries.
The distinguished guest was shown Kyrgyz national equestrian competitions – jorgo (racing among pacers), kok-boru and salbuurun, included in the program of the World Nomad Games.
As with the Turkmen people, horse racing in the Kyrgyz Republic remains one of the most exciting and exciting sports, which today, as centuries ago, is an integral attribute of national celebrations and holidays.
