On 22 October 2026, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan Stanislav Chepurnoy met with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Mammedov, who oversees health, education, science, and sports.
The talks served as a continuation of agreements reached on 7 October 2026 in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Natalya Petkevich and Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Mammedov.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed a range of issues aimed at stepping up bilateral cooperation in healthcare, education, and sports.
In addition, the diplomat and the DPM discussed the possibility of holding the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Turkmen Commission on Cooperation in Science and Technology in the near future. /// nCa, 26 October 2026
