Ashgabat, August 31, 2026. — Today, a ceremony was held at the office of the Keyik Okara Public Organization to present school kits to children from socially vulnerable groups. The event was held with the direct support of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Turkmenistan.
Ahead of Knowledge Day, 74 schoolchildren from families facing difficult life situations received colorful backpacks fully equipped with all necessary school supplies. Among the invited families were parents with many children, single mothers without permanent employment, low-income families, and parents raising children with disabilities.
A distinctive feature of the campaign was its individualized approach: 41 girls received brightly designed backpacks, while 33 boys received age-appropriate themed backpacks. In total, the Israeli Embassy donated 74 sets, which will provide reliable support for the children in the new school year.
The ceremony took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Representatives of the Keik Okara organization congratulated the children and their parents on the upcoming holiday, wishing them success in their studies and new discoveries. In their responses, the parents noted the importance of such support, which not only helps them prepare for school but also gives the children a sense of celebration and care.
The leadership of the Keik Okara public organization expresses its deep gratitude to the staff of the Israeli Embassy in Turkmenistan for their attention, sensitivity, and proactive social stance. The organizers of the campaign look forward to further fruitful cooperation and the strengthening of their partnerships in the areas of philanthropy and support for the younger generation of Turkmenistan.
In his message, delivered by the representative of the Embassy, His Excellency Ismail Khaldi, Ambassador of Israel in Turkmenistan said: “Education is key to their success in life, and since we consider education a fundamental principle for the younger generation, we invest in it accordingly.
Our motto is: No child should be left without an education. Every child has the right to an education, regardless of their circumstances, and it is our moral duty to stand up for them and support them.
