Turkmenistan and Belarus are actively cooperating on organizing the mutual participation of enterprises from both countries in key exhibition events of 2026.
According to the Embassy of Belarus in Turkmenistan, Ambassador of Belarus to Turkmenistan Stanislav Chepurnoy held talks with Mergen Gurdov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the results of business community cooperation in 2025 and discussed in detail the plans for the current year.
Particular attention was paid to arranging the participation of Turkmen enterprises in one of Belarus’s largest agricultural exhibitions — Belagro-2026 — as well as the participation of Belarusian companies in the Agro Pack Turkmenistan-2026 exhibition in Turkmenistan.
Both specialized platforms traditionally bring together leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery, processing equipment, packaging solutions, and agro-industrial technologies.
The Turkmen side expressed readiness to send specialized business missions to Belarus in 2026. The main areas of cooperation to be explored during such visits include: transport and logistics, information technologies, light industry.
