Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United States Esen Aydogdyyev held a meeting with U.S. Senator Steve Daines at the Senator’s office in Washington, D.C., the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Washington confirmed.
According to the Embassy, the two sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the United States across a broad range of areas, including the political, economic, trade, and energy sectors.
The parties also exchanged views on upcoming joint engagements between the two countries.
Both sides underscored the importance of sustaining regular diplomatic dialogue as a key driver of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States.
The meeting reflects the continued efforts of both nations to deepen ties across multiple sectors, building on a series of high-level contacts between Ashgabat and Washington in recent weeks. /// nCa, 25 June 2026
