The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Chinese Industrial Overseas Development Association (CODA), with the assistance of Talwas Yoly Closed Joint Stock Company and the Oguz Forum&Expo division, will hold a Turkmen-Chinese Trade and Economic Forum entitled “New Opportunities for Trade and Economic Cooperation”, which will be held on 28-30 April 2026 in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry the chamber of Ashgabat.
The forum is aimed at boosting business ties and creating a favorable environment for expanding mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries. One of the key areas will be industrial and industrial cooperation, covering such areas as construction, energy, the hydrocarbon extraction industry, transport and logistics, the agricultural sector, innovation and IT, light and heavy industry, motor transport and the introduction of modern production technologies.
An important place in the program of the event is devoted to the development of the agricultural sector and food security, where innovative crop production methods and digital technologies will be presented, contributing to increased productivity and environmental sustainability. A separate section of the forum will be devoted to issues of transport and logistics integration. Turkmenistan will present its capabilities as an important link in international transport routes. Participants will be able to get acquainted with projects for the development of multimodal transport corridors, strengthening logistics infrastructure and increasing connectivity between regions.
It is expected that the upcoming event will become a high-level international platform for establishing new partnerships, presenting joint projects and strengthening the bilateral economic dialogue.
Presidents of major Chinese associations, representatives of government agencies, heads of leading
