President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will take part in the celebrations in Beijing to mark the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the World War Against Fascism.
According to China’s foreign ministry, 26 foreign heads of state and heads of government will participate in the events commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
Among the invited heads of state are the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the presidents of other Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
Leaders from Russia, Türkiye, Iran, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and other countries are also expected to attend the ceremonies.
A military parade in honor of this event will be held on 3 September, morning, at Tiananmen Square in Beijing. At noon, a reception will be held in Beijing. President Xi Jinping will make important remarks. On the evening of that day, a gala will be held in Beijing. ///nCa, 28 August 2025
