Sustainable urban planning and technological cooperation will be among the areas of focus for the Masdar City delegation from Abu Dhabi at the International Conference and Exhibition CIET 2026. The forum will take place in Ashgabat on 3–5 November.
Alongside participation in the conference, the visit will include engagement with Turkmenistan’s professional and academic community. A lecture at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction and a visit to Arkadag city are planned.
This format will provide opportunities for exchanges at several levels, from discussions on urban planning approaches to introducing students and specialists to practical applications of resource-efficient and digital solutions.
Masdar City brings together sustainable architecture, renewable energy and a technology ecosystem. Its approach to urban development incorporates passive design, efficient energy and water management, pedestrian-oriented planning and sustainable mobility solutions.
This experience is relevant to the CIET 2026 agenda, which covers modern construction, industry, infrastructure, digitalisation and investment. The delegation’s participation will provide an opportunity to discuss how international approaches can be applied in line with local conditions and development priorities.
More than 200 delegates have already registered for CIET 2026. The forum will provide a platform for establishing professional connections and discussing practical cooperation between government bodies, companies, educational institutions and technology developers. ///nCa, 4 October 2026 (the material was provided by the CIET 2026 Organizers)
