The capital of Turkmenistan prepares to become a hub for global tourism industry dialogue
From April 14 to 16, 2026, Ashgabat will host one of the most anticipated international events in the tourism sector — TurkmenTravel-2026. The international tourism exhibition and forum will bring together leading international organizations, air carriers, and key players of the global tourism market under one roof. The event will be held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The forum is being organized through the joint efforts of Talvas Yoly CJSC and the Oguz Forum & Expo division, with the official support of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The event is set to serve as a fully-fledged international platform for dialogue between government bodies, the business community, and industry professionals. The programme will cover the development of international tourism routes, the integration of digital technologies and online services, the advancement of hotel and recreational infrastructure, medical and wellness tourism, educational mobility, as well as presentations of national pavilions from participating countries showcasing their cultural and tourism potential.
TurkmenTravel-2026 pursues a strategic goal — to strengthen Turkmenistan’s international image as a promising destination for travel, investment, and professional partnership, marking a new chapter in the development of the country’s tourism industry.
