Tomorrow, May 24, Ashgabat will witness the grand opening of the XXV International Exhibition and Conference “White City Ashgabat 2026” (WCA 2026). The event, organized in honor of the 145th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s white-marble capital, will be held under the banner “Architecture. Innovation. Sustainable Development” and is set to become a pivotal platform for expanding international investment cooperation.
The large-scale forum will bring together over 800 delegates from 55 countries around the world. The roster of participants includes representatives of financial institutions, government departments, investors, technology leaders, heads of architectural and engineering firms, and broad business circles. Against the backdrop of its consistent implementation of modern urban planning solutions, Ashgabat reaffirms its status as a reliable venue for professional dialogue and long-term partnerships.
The economic potential of the forum is bolstered by a massive exhibition featuring more than 180 Turkmen and international companies. They will present their products, technologies, and modern solutions across strategic sectors such as construction, industry, energy, urban development, technology, and services. The exhibition grounds are strictly results-oriented, designed to facilitate active business networking, presentations, experience sharing, and B2B meetings aimed at forging new business ties.
The conference portion of the forum will offer participants an in-depth analysis of pressing economic and infrastructural issues. Thematic sessions are scheduled to cover investment models for cities of the future, industrial ecosystems, digital infrastructure development, modern construction solutions, and energy systems.
The most critical international and institutional element of the program will be the United Nations High-Level Round Table: “From Global Dialogue to Practical Realization: Sustainable, Inclusive, and Smart Cities.” Given the rising global importance of the environmental and urban agenda, this discussion in Ashgabat will allow businesses and government structures to hammer out practical approaches to financing and executing high-tech urban projects. The WCA 2026 forum is destined to bridge strategic vision and commercial solutions for the sustainable growth of tomorrow’s cities.
