IE OJAR AZIYA participated in the 5th National and International Trade Exhibition named after Imam Abu Hanifa, held at the Afghanistan International Expo Centre in Kabul with the support of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Afghanistan.
The prestigious exhibition brought together representatives of government institutions, the business community, investors and entrepreneurs interested in developing international and regional cooperation.

As part of its exhibition, OJAR AZIYA presented key infrastructure projects at various stages of preparation and implementation.
The centrepiece of the company’s stand was the proposed modern Sarahs – Mary – Serhetabat high-speed motorway, which will be approximately 450 kilometres long. The motorway will connect Turkmenistan’s border with Iran to its border with Afghanistan, creating a new transport route through Turkmenistan. The project is aimed at strengthening ties between the brotherly countries, developing transit connections and expanding access to the markets of Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia and Europe.
Particular attention was given to the modern warehouse and logistics complex currently under construction at the dry port of Torghundi Railway Station in Afghanistan. The complex covers a total area of 3.28 hectares and will have an annual design capacity of up to 2.4 million tonnes of cargo and 43,800 containers. The facility is designed for the storage, handling and transshipment of goods between rail and road transport and will contribute to the development of cross-border trade between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
The company also presented a hotel and logistics complex being developed in Serhetabat. The 5-hectare site will include a 150-room hotel, 10,400 m² of storage facilities and parking for 200 freight vehicles.
Another project presented was a modern flour mill being developed in Serhetabat, near the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan border. The 5-hectare production facility will process 6,384 tonnes of wheat and produce approximately 4,980 tonnes of flour and 1,277 tonnes of bran annually. The project is intended to ensure a reliable supply of high-quality flour to the Afghan market.
The OJAR AZIYA IE stand, which combined contemporary design with national motifs from Turkmenistan and Afghanistan, attracted considerable interest from visitors. Company representatives held a series of bilateral meetings in G2B and B2B formats to discuss opportunities for investment partnerships and the joint implementation of infrastructure projects.
At the exhibition, OJAR AZIYA signed Memoranda of Understanding with leading participating companies from Afghanistan and Iran, laying the foundation for long-term cooperation and the joint implementation of investment and infrastructure projects.
Participation in the exhibition contributed to strengthening business relations between the two countries and confirmed OJAR AZIYA’s interest in long-term cooperation with government institutions, investors and entrepreneurs in Afghanistan. ///nCa, 12 October 2026
