A large-scale exhibition is currently underway at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, organized on the sidelines of the Turkmen-Chinese Business Forum. More than 80 companies from the PRC are showcasing not only industrial giants but also solutions that directly impact quality of life, the environment, and the preservation of national traditions—ranging from high-tech cotton seeds to legendary bicycles.
Technological Breakthrough in the Open Air
The outdoor plaza in front of the Chamber of Commerce has been transformed into a showroom for heavy machinery and the latest automotive industry achievements, set against a backdrop of picturesque mountain landscapes. Key highlights include:
- Agro-Industrial Complex: Powerful blue LOVOL tractors (specifically the LOVOL 1004 model) and advanced seeders captured the attention of agricultural experts. At the Jinghua Seed Industry stand, visitors explored cotton seed samples and detailed descriptions of molecular and traditional breeding technologies, presented in three languages.
- Heavy Machinery and Logistics: An impressive lineup of white SINOTRUK trucks and SHANTUI special equipment (excavators, truck cranes, and concrete mixers) demonstrated the readiness of Chinese partners to implement large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Automotive Premieres: The passenger vehicle segment featured several brands. The official distributor, Bereket-Gozbaşy, presented a lineup of Geely crossovers. Nearby, the Auto Link area showcased the latest Changan models, including the CS75 Plus. Powerful SINOTRUK pickups were also on display.
“Green” Energy and Digital Intelligence
Inside the pavilion, high technology took center stage:
- CEEC (China Energy): One of the world’s largest conglomerates presented a strategy based on four pillars: Innovation, Green, Digital Intelligence, and Integration. CEEC’s models demonstrated a “smart city” concept integrated with renewable energy sources. A model of the high-tech ROIISTOY aircraft engine was also presented.
- Huawei: The company’s stand became a hub for IT professionals, featuring a 5G implementation strategy and the latest foldable smartphones.
- Nuctech: The company showcased AI-based solutions designed for customs terminals, ports, and railways.
Tradition and Quality of Life
The exhibition proved that cooperation extends beyond mega-projects into everyday life:
- Veterinary Safety: For instance, HBNSP presented a wide range of pharmaceutical products for livestock and poultry farming.
- Light Industry: The stand featuring legendary Flying Pigeon bicycles—whose history is inextricably linked with the development of global cycling culture—sparked nostalgic interest.
- Cultural Dialogue: A Chinese tea ceremony zone, where a master in traditional dress introduced guests to the art of tea brewing, served as a warm symbol of cultural exchange.
The exhibition at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry provides clear evidence that the Turkmen-Chinese partnership in 2026 is a comprehensive and multi-vector collaboration. From high-tech cotton seeds and Shantui excavator models to veterinary innovations and Flying Pigeon bicycles, the solutions presented here are likely to soon become part of Turkmenistan’s everyday economic reality, thanks to this forum. ///nCa, 28 April 2026
