Ashgabat, 30 May 2011 (nCa) — The third Central Asia Child Protection Forum, arranged by UNICEF, started Monday in Turkmenistan.
The regional forum brings together the parliament members, prosecutors, judges, other experts from the five Central Asian countries, UNICEF representatives and specialists for exchange of experience and enhancement of awareness on child protection issues.
The opening ceremony and the first-day session is taking place at the Goekdere resort. The forum will continue its work on 31 May and 1 June at the President Hotel, Ashgabat.
