Private transport and logistics companies, all members of the “Türkmen Logistika” Association, have begun testing an intelligent fleet management system as part of Turkmenistan’s broader strategy to digitalize its transport sector, according to the national newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan.
The platform was developed by Hebent Tehnologiýa, a Turkmen tech company specializing in IT solutions, artificial intelligence, and digital ecosystems.
The fleet management and digitalization software enables real-time vehicle tracking, route and travel history analysis, detection of inefficient mileage, and optimization of supply chains.
Key capabilities include automated maintenance monitoring, which tracks service histories and sends reminders for scheduled maintenance, helping prevent breakdowns and minimize costly downtime.
The platform also monitors fuel usage to improve efficiency and improves operational control through customizable geofencing (virtual boundaries) and automated analytical reporting, giving managers instant visibility into overall fleet performance.
Ten logistics companies are participating in the platform’s initial deployment. Each company has been granted full, free access to all features for a three-month trial period.
Engineers from Hebent Tehnologiýa are providing end-to-end support throughout the rollout—from tailoring geofences to specific transport routes to training staff on how to navigate the analytical dashboards.
Smart software solutions like this are expected to automate processes that previously required continuous manual oversight.
The adoption of these technologies is particularly timely given the growing importance of logistics in Turkmenistan’s economy.
