Afghanistan has set a committee to start the practical work on the TAPI pipeline project, said TOLO news.
According to the Afghan foreign ministry, the committee will be led by the first deputy prime minister, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar.
A delegation of the Islamic Emirate will soon visit Turkmenistan, said the ministry.
The negotiations will explore such issues as gas prices, implementation of projects in Herat and the creation of industrial parks.
The acquisition of 153 kilometers of land is expected to happen soon.
The delegation of Political Office of Taliban headed by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar visited Turkmenistan in February 2021. During the talks, Taliban delegation declared full support for the implementation and security of TAPI and other developmental projects in Afghanistan. ///nCa, 21 August 2022
