A delegation from Astrakhan State University (ASU), one of Russia’s leading universities, arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the conference “Healthcare, Education and Sports in the period of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state.”
During the visit, ASU plans to sign cooperation agreements with four educational organizations in Turkmenistan:
- Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan
- International University of Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan
- Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Niyazov
- Joint Turkmen-Russian secondary school named after A. S. Pushkin
ASU Vice-Rector for International Affairs Angelina Fadina also discussed ways to develop further cooperation with the rector of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University Bayramgul Orazdurdieva. The parties discussed the following areas of cooperation:
- Activities of the UNESCO Chair
- Organization of academic exchanges of teaching staff for lectures, seminars, and practical classes
- Organization of academic exchanges of students for study at partner universities, as well as practical training
- Advanced training of scientific and pedagogical workers
- Organization of joint scientific expeditions
- Participation in joint events, scientific conferences, symposiums, and seminars, competitions/grants
- Organization of scientific guidance, consulting, and expertise
After discussing the key areas of university cooperation, Fadina gave a lecture on the topic “Development of cognitive abilities in students” for senior students of the Turkmen State University.///nCa, 11 October 2023
