
In Ashgabat, negotiations were held between the leadership of the state fuel and energy sector and representatives of European business. The heads of the state concerns “Türkmengaz” and “Türkmennebit” met with V. Nikitin, Head of Business Development at BASF Intertrade AG (part of the German giant BASF Group). This was reported by the TDH agency.
The focus of the parties was on analyzing the implementation of previously reached agreements. The meeting participants noted the productivity of current cooperation and reaffirmed their readiness to expand mutually beneficial ties.
The German concern already has successful experience in the Turkmen market. Specifically, BASF gas treatment equipment was selected to equip the modern gas chemical complex in the village of Kiyanly.
In addition to the supply of technology, the company expressed its readiness to provide comprehensive technical support and professional consulting services for equipment operation.
