Ashgabat — The Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, in cooperation with the Talwas Yoly Closed Joint Stock Company and the Oguz Forum&Expo divisions, announce the holding of the international tourism forum and exhibition Turkmen Travel 2026.
The event will take place on 14-16 April 2026 in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The forum will bring together leading representatives of the tourism industry: tour operators, airlines, hotel chains, specialists in the field of cultural heritage and ecotourism. The participants will be able to present new tourist destinations, discuss the prospects for international cooperation and demonstrate advanced technological solutions in the field of modern tourism. 100 foreign delegates from various regions of the world and 60 local representatives of the tourism industry are expected to participate.
Special attention will be paid to ecotourism, ethnographic tourism and health resorts based on Turkmenistan’s unique natural resources.
The main purpose of the forum is to strengthen cooperation with international companies, demonstrate Turkmenistan’s unique tourism potential and position the country as a promising partner in the field of knowledge, experience and technology exchange.
The focus is on:
• the development of the hotel business;
• Digitalization of travel services;
• Strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
A platform for dialogue and innovation
The event will serve as a platform for the presentation of innovative projects and the holding of B2B and B2G meetings aimed at stimulating dialogue between representatives of government, business and the tourism industry. These formats will allow participants to discuss in detail the priority areas of tourism development, exchange successful practices and develop joint initiatives.
