As nature awakens and flourishes this spring, the official website of one of Turkmenistan’s leading environmental NGOs, “Ýaş Tebigatçy” (Young Naturalist), has officially launched at tebigatchy.co.tm. The rollout of this digital platform marks a significant milestone in modernizing the organization’s operations, aimed at broadening public access to information regarding its ongoing environmental initiatives.
The organization’s core focus areas include contributing to the nation’s ecological well-being, fostering eco-culture among the youth, and promoting “green” habits. The work of “Young naturalist” encompasses national environmental programs and the development of volunteer movements.
“The launch of our new website is a point of intersection between digitalization and environmental education. This resource will serve as more than just an information channel; it is a tool ensuring the transparency and accessibility of our initiatives for all stakeholders. This platform will act as an essential bridge for strengthening international cooperation in the name of ecological sustainability,” notes Leyli Shyhmedova, Head of the organization.
On the website, users can access the latest news and articles about the organization’s progress in Turkmen, Russian, and English. Furthermore, those wishing to make a personal contribution to nature conservation can apply for membership or join the volunteer corps directly through the site.
The functioning of the website is expected to catalyze engagement with the public and international structures, while supporting the successful implementation of the country’s national environmental policy. ///nCa, 24 March 2026 (in cooperation with the “Young naturalist”)
