The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Turkmenistan continues to support the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan (MoHMI) in controlling non-communicable diseases by regularly delivering medicines for their treatment.
Under the Agreement on the provision of medicines for the prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases, UNDP delivered another batch of medicines for the treatment of oncological and hematological diseases.



The new delivery included the following medicines:
• Paclitaxel
• Immunoglobulin
• Human coagulation factor VII
• L-asparaginase
• Methotrexate
• Trastuzumab
• Rituximab
• Chlorambucil
• Hydroxyurea
This delivery is part of a large-scale project under which #UNDP annually deliveries approximately 60 types of medicines to the country’s healthcare system, helping to improve access to treatment for patients with oncological and hematological diseases.
Since 2021, UNDP has been implementing projects on the prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases with full funding from the Ministry of Health and Social Development. ///nCa, 25 February 2026 (in cooperation with UNDP Turkmenistan)
