Nokerguly Atagulyev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan overseeing the trade sector, is on an official visit to Georgia.
On Monday, 30 March 2026, Atagulyev met with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to a statement from the Georgian government, the parties reviewed prospects for future cooperation between the two nations.
It was noted that Georgian-Turkmen relations have reached a qualitatively new level, and high-level visits play a significant role in further strengthening these ties.
The discussion covered trade and economic relations, with a particular emphasis on cooperation in the fields of agriculture and tourism.
The current regional situation was also touched upon, highlighting Turkmenistan’s efforts to promote peace and stability in Central Asia.
