A large delegation of Belarusian enterprises visited Ashgabat. The trip, organized by the Mogilev and Minsk branches of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) with the support of the Embassy of Belarus in Turkmenistan, took place from 15 to 19 March 2026.
The main occasion for the visit was an exhibition dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) — a key platform uniting the country’s private sector.

In Ashgabat, Belarusian business representatives held a series of meetings with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and members of the UIET board. The agenda focused on increasing mutual supplies, expanding the range of services, and companies’ participation in future exhibition projects in both countries.

Particular attention was paid to practical aspects of doing business. Delegation members met with Stanislav Chepurny, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan.
Practical results: contracts and study of capacities
The visit was not limited to meeting rooms. The Belarusian side explored Turkmenistan’s production potential by visiting the Ashgabat Textile Complex and several private enterprises.

According to the “Vestnik Belneftekhim” portal, the main practical outcome of the series of B2B meetings was the signing of specific agreements. In particular, OJSC “Belshina” concluded an agreement for the supply of its products to Turkmenistan. ///nCa, 19 March 2026 (photo credit – Embassy of Belarus to Turkmenistan)
