A large-scale exhibition showcasing the economic achievements of the private sector opened on 17 March 2026 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The event is dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET).
More than 100 companies are vividly demonstrating the transformation of Turkmen business. The country’s private sector has transitioned from simple domestic market saturation and import substitution to the creation of export-oriented production clusters.
The participants include traditional leaders in agribusiness and the food industry, manufacturers of industrial and construction materials, key players in the transport and logistics market, as well as companies operating in high-tech and light industry.
The pavilions are a kaleidoscope of diversity, literally visualizing Turkmenistan’s production spectrum — ranging from fresh produce, confectionery, and meat delicacies to electronics, household chemicals, motorboats, and modern furniture. The display also features large-scale models of infrastructure projects and the latest achievements in pedigree livestock breeding.
The exhibition has drawn significant interest from the international business community, with participants from Germany, China, the UAE, Belarus, Russia, Iran, the United Kingdom, and several other nations.
In essence, the exhibition serves as a specialized showcase of services and industrial potential for potential foreign investors. The International Forum “Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan,” scheduled for 18 March, will provide a platform for negotiations and concrete agreements. The forum will focus on key sectors such as agriculture and food processing, construction and industry, transport and logistics, digitalization and high technology, as well as the financial and banking sectors. ///nCa, 17 March 2026
