From 9 to 15 March 2026, the city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan, hosted the IV International Women’s Chess Tournament, bringing together participants from nine countries.
The competitions were held under the Swiss system in three groups:
- Masters — 10 participants
- Challengers — 41 participants
- Futures — 62 participants
The time control was 60 minutes per game with an increment of 30 seconds per move.


The tournament featured chess players from Austria, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
Turkmenistan was represented by several promising players who demonstrated impressive results:
- In the Challengers (Category B) group, Myahri Agamyradova, a student of Sports School No. 13 in Turkmenabat, won 1st place among girls under 16, showing confident and stable play throughout the tournament.
- In the Futures (Category C) group, Enesh Arazmedova, a student of the Specialized Chess and Draughts School in Ashgabat, took 5th place, demonstrating a high level of preparation and competitiveness.
- Also in the Futures group, Gulmira Seyilkhanova, a student of School No. 41 and Sports School No. 13 in Turkmenabat, finished the tournament in 7th position.
