April 2026 marks a landmark moment in Turkmen–Chinese business relations
From April 28 to 30, 2026, Ashgabat will host one of the most significant international business events in the history of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the People’s Republic of China — Turkmen–China Business Forum & Expo 2026. The event will take place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The forum is being organized through the joint efforts of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, Oguz Forum & Expo, and the China Overseas Development Association (CODA), which serves as an official co-organizer of the event. Nielsonsmith has been confirmed as the official partner of the forum, a company widely recognized for its contribution to the development of international business communications across the Eurasian space.
A Platform for a New Level of Dialogue
Organizers and industry experts alike emphasize that Turkmen–China Business Forum & Expo 2026 is far more than a conventional business event. Against the backdrop of deepening economic integration across the Central Asian region, the forum is set to become a fully operational negotiation platform — one capable of elevating Turkmen–Chinese cooperation to an entirely new qualitative level.
The Turkmen–Chinese market holds considerable untapped potential across a range of sectors, including energy, the digital economy, transport logistics, the agro-industrial complex, and light manufacturing. It is here, on a single platform, that the strategic interests of both nations will have the opportunity to translate into concrete agreements, investment projects, and long-term partnerships.
A Broad and Representative Participant Base
More than 300 government bodies, companies, and institutions from the Turkmen side have been invited to participate in the forum. Among them are the Ministry of Energy, the State Concern Turkmengaz, Turkmenneft, Turkmenistan Airlines, and a number of other specialized agencies. The breadth and seniority of this participant roster reflects the strong state-level commitment to advancing relations with Chinese partners.
Three Formats, One Goal
The forum’s business programme is built around three core formats. The exhibition exposition will span 12 industries — ranging from energy and petrochemicals to information technology, tourism, and the agro-industrial sector. Companies will have the opportunity to present their projects at individual stands or as part of national pavilions.
Running in parallel will be a series of thematic sessions dedicated to innovative logistics, agricultural technologies, economic digitalization, construction, energy, and the investment climate. The third format consists of direct negotiations in B2B and B2G modes, facilitating face-to-face dialogue between business representatives and government structures from both countries.
The centerpiece of the forum will be a plenary session held under the theme “Partnership, Trust, Development: A New Chapter in Turkmen–Chinese Dialogue”, with the event concluding in a formal signing ceremony for memoranda of cooperation.
Comprehensive Support for Participants
The forum’s organizing committee provides participants with full logistical and visa support. Registration and detailed information are available on the official website of the event.
