On 10 February 2026, a three-day Exhibition of Export Goods of the Republic of Türkiye opens in Ashgabat. On this occasion, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the participants of the event. The text of the message was published by the country’s state media.
“Today, the Republic of Türkiye is one of the major trade and economic partners of our country: Turkish companies work closely with Turkmen partners—successfully implementing joint projects in various segments of the economy and expanding constructive dialogue in the business sphere,” the Head of Turkmenistan emphasized.
“This trend is clearly reflected in the consistently growing relations across many areas between the friendly Turkmen and Turkish peoples, who since ancient times have been regarded as ‘two states — one nation’,” the message states.
Turkmenistan and Türkiye regularly hold cross-exhibitions of national products, business councils, and forums. Such practices have a positive impact on intensifying contacts between representatives of the public and private sectors in various fields.
“Thanks to such measures, the Republic of Türkiye holds a significant position in the foreign trade turnover of Turkmenistan,” Berdimuhamedov noted.
The exhibition will feature innovative proposals and developments from Turkish companies in numerous fields, including the agricultural complex, food industry, construction, industrial equipment manufacturing, energy, chemical industry, as well as medicine, education, and science.
A number of Turkish companies will be demonstrating their products in Ashgabat for the first time.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that “the current exhibition will be of great importance in expanding bilateral trade and economic partnership, increasing trade turnover between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye, further building business contacts with Turkish companies and investors, and widely attracting investment into the national economy.” ///nCa, 10 February 2026
