A three-day exhibition of Turkish export products has launched in Ashgabat. The opening ceremony was attended by Nokerguly Atagulyev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan overseeing the trade sector, and Ömer Bolat, the Minister of Trade of Türkiye.
According to TRT Avaz, prior to the opening of the exhibition, Minister Bolat was received by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov. According to the Minister, the meeting was extremely productive.
“We are delighted to be here with our Turkmen brothers. We express our gratitude to the esteemed President Berdimuhamedov for his hospitality and gracious reception,” stated Ömer Bolat.
This year’s exhibition has drawn significant attention due to its increased scale compared to the previous year. The total area of the exposition, designed as a massive platform, covers approximately 1,400 square meters. Products are showcased across 87 different stands, representing a 50% increase in participation over last year. Mega-projects in the fields of energy, healthcare, and the chemical industry are at the forefront of the display.
In 2025, the trade volume between the two nations crossed a significant milestone, reaching $2.2 billion. However, the medium-term goal set by the leaders of both countries is far more ambitious: $5 billion.

Minister Bolat emphasized that every effort is being made to reach this target, noting the success of Turkish companies in Turkmenistan. He stated that to date, Turkish contracting organizations have successfully completed nearly 1,100 projects in Turkmenistan, with a total value reaching $56 billion.
During the visit, a bilateral meeting is also expected between the Trade Minister and DPM Nokerguly Atagulyev. /// nCa, 10 February 2026 (Photo credit – TRT AVAZ, nCa, Cumha)
