Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Romania, Annamammet Annayev, held a working meeting in Bucharest with Mustafa Yildiz, coordinator of the Yunus Emre Institute.
The parties discussed the rich agenda of humanitarian cooperation for the current year, paying special attention to the popularization of the cultural heritage of the Turkic-speaking peoples in Europe.
During the negotiations, a plan of joint activities aimed at strengthening intercultural dialogue was outlined.
Among the priority projects for 2026 are the organization of Cinema Days of Turkic-speaking countries, joint scientific and cultural conferences, thematic exhibitions and music programs demonstrating the richness of traditions of Turkmenistan and the Turkic world as a whole.
Ambassador A. Annaev and M. Yildiz expressed mutual interest in expanding the areas of partnership.
The Yunus Emre Institute is an international organization whose activities are aimed at promoting the Turkish language, culture and art, as well as at developing cultural exchanges around the world. ///nCa, 6 February 2026
