The Doorenbos’s snowberry (Symphoricarpos x doorenbosii) is a “pink miracle” amid everyday urban landscapes. This photo was taken in the Belgorod region, Russia. Reaching up to 3 meters in height, these shrubs are true symbols of both delicacy and incredible resilience, capable of withstanding temperatures as low as –34°C.
The plant is named after the Dutch breeder Simon Doorenbos, who developed this group of hybrids in the early 20th century.
