A large consignment of modern specialized municipal equipment—totaling more than 950 units of vehicles and machinery—has recently arrived in Turkmenistan. This was reported by the state news agency TDH, the newspapers Neutral Turkmenistan and Turkmenistan.
The new machines and equipment, purchased from leading global manufacturers, will significantly strengthen the material and technical capabilities of urban and regional utility services, helping to create a more comfortable and well-maintained urban environment for the population.
The equipment was supplied by well-known companies from China—Zoomlion, Dongfeng, and Infore Enviro—as well as by the Russian manufacturer KAMAZ. The delivery includes: sewage suction trucks, high-pressure sewer cleaning vehicles, sweeper-washer machines, side-loading garbage trucks, container-type garbage trucks, multi-functional machines for washing road barriers and guardrails, compact sweeper-washers, wood-chipping trucks for timber processing, 25-ton heavy trucks, road sprinkler and washing vehicles, water tankers, hydraulic aerial work platforms, compact road-washing machines with lifting equipment, mobile repair workshops, special heavy-duty trailers, loader-excavators, large front-end loaders, wheeled excavators, open containers for garbage trucks, tree transplanting equipment, various specialized attachments.
In addition, 24-seat buses were purchased for employees in the municipal sector
The distribution of the equipment across provinces is as follows:
- Ashgabat received 194 units of specialized vehicles, which have already been handed over to city services for maintaining cleanliness, beautification, and infrastructure upkeep.
- Ahal — more than 162 units of special equipment, including road sprinklers, water tankers, mobile auto repair workshops, excavators, truck cranes, aerial platforms, buses, and much more.
- Balkan— 159 units of multifunctional specialized equipment designed for street and urban road cleaning.
- Dashoguz — 149 units of modern equipment, including 88 powerful KAMAZ garbage trucks of the latest models.
- Lebap — 148 machines and tractors of various purposes, complete with auxiliary equipment.
- Mary — 148 units of specialized construction and transport equipment of various types.
All imported specialized machinery is adapted to the natural and climatic conditions of Turkmenistan. This ensures the longest possible service life, reliability, and efficient performance under local conditions.
The arrival of this new equipment marks an important step in modernizing the country’s municipal sector. The advanced vehicles, machinery, and specialized tools will improve the quality of street cleaning, utility network maintenance, waste collection, and other services. ///nCa, 13 January 2026
