Şanlıurfa, one of the world’s oldest settlements, is set to bridge the gap between human history and the technologies of tomorrow. From September 30 to October 4, 2026, the Turkey Technology Team Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology will host TEKNOFEST 2026 in this historic city, fueling the “National Technology Initiative” and empowering the next generation of innovators.
Implemented through the partnership of public institutions, the private sector, academia, and civil society organizations that play a critical role in the development of national technology in Türkiye, TEKNOFEST stands out as the world’s largest aerospace and technology festival. The first step taken in 2018 has today evolved into a strong and sustainable ecosystem that increases interest in technology across all segments of society through technology competitions, breathtaking air shows, planetariums, simulation and experience zones, workshops, exhibition and fair areas, concerts, exhibitions, stage events, and various activities.
With the aim of turning the dreams of hundreds of thousands of young people into reality, TEKNOFEST offer s a platform for technology competitions in various categories. Across a wide range of fields—from aerospace to artificial intelligence, from the defense industry to energy and agricultural technologies—the contest encourages young people to produce, develop, and succeed together. In line with this vision, TEKNOFEST aims to contribute to Türkiye’s transformation into a society that develops and produces technology within the framework of the National Technology Initiative.
With TEKNOFEST 2026 Şanlıurfa, young people, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts will come together around a shared vision. Technology competitions, breathtaking air shows, planetariums, simulation and experience zones, workshops, exhibition and fair areas, concerts, exhibitions, stage events, and various activities organized within the festival will offer an inspiring festival experience for visitors of all ages.
What Happened at TEKNOFEST 2025
In 2025, TEKNOFEST made history by organizing a total of three separate festivals—one of them abroad—in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Blue Homeland, and Istanbul. TEKNOFEST TRNC was held at Ercan Airport between May 1–4, 2025; TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland took place at the Istanbul Shipyard Command between August 28–31, 2025; and TEKNOFEST Istanbul was organized at Istanbul Atatürk Airport between September 17–21, 2025.
