The Permanent Delegation of Turkmenistan to UNESCO, together with the missions of other countries, organized a celebration of Nowruz at the organization’s headquarters in Paris.
The event was co-organized by the permanent delegations of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, and Turkmenistan.
Since 2009, the celebration of Nowruz has been included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Every year, Nowruz is widely celebrated within UNESCO by delegations of member states. ///Embassy of Turkmenistan in France
