Russian Envoy Brings Birthday Message from Putin to Berdymuhamedov
Ashgabat, 29 June 2007 (nCa) --- President Putin has sent a birthday message to President Berdymuhamedov who has turned 50 today. Russian ambassador Igor Blatov delivered the message.
The sides also discussed some details of the forthcoming joint intergovernmental meeting scheduled for 10 July 2007.
In his message Putin wishes the Turkmen president good health, happy mood and success in the reform process to bring happiness and prosperity to the people of Turkmenistan.
Berdymuhamedov said that Turkmenistan cherishes its warm relations and close cooperation with Russia.
The Turkmen president and the Russian envoy discussed the priority directions of bilateral cooperation in the context of intergovernmental commission meeting that would be held in Ashgabat on 10 July 2007.
