German Firm to Supply Desalination Plant to Turkmenistan

Ashgabat, 20 June 2007 (nCa) --- A German firm has won the contract to supply a desalination plant to Turkmenistan.

PWT Wasser und Abwassertechnikn GmbH will supply on turnkey basis a desalination plant capable of purifying 50000 cubic meters of water per day.

The plant would be installed in Ekerem town of Esenguly district in Balkan province. Ekerem town is locaed at the Caspian shore of Turkmenistan.

Total cost of the project is US $ 7.522 million.
