Turkmenistan Sends Earthquake Condolence Message to Pakistan

Ashgabat, 31 October 2008 (nCa) --- President Berdymuhamedov sent Thursday a message of condolence to Pakistan, expressing his grief at the loss of life and property caused by recent earthquake in the Balochistan province.
In his message to President Asif Zardari, Berdymuhamedov said, “Please convey my sympathy and support to the relatives and friends of those killed and affected by the disaster.”
The earthquake, registered at 6.4 on Richter scale, hit the Ziarat city and adjoining areas of Balochistan, resulting in more than 200 deaths and rendering some 20000 homeless.
