Iranian Company Gets Railway, Port Contract in Turkmenistan

Ashgabat, 6 March 2008 (nCa) --- An Iranian company has won tenders for a contract worth US $ 29.3 million for construction of some port and railway structures in Turkmenistan.
According to the terms of the contract Pars Energy of Iran will build the extension to a mooring at Kiyanly terminal for loading and export of liquefied gas and build the rail link between Turkmenbashy and Kiyanly.
Work should start in April 2008 and the facilities should be ready by April 2010.
