ADB Delegation in Ashgabat
Ashgabat, 3 February 2008 (nCa) --- A delegation of the Asian Development Bank, led by Juan Miranda, Director General for Central and West Asia Department (CWRD), is visiting Turkmenistan to discuss ways for strengthening the process of reforms in Turkmenistan.
The delegation has held meetings with the ministries of foreign affairs, finance and economy, agriculture, Central Bank of Turkmenistan, state committee for statistics and institute for strategic planning and development.
Turkmenistan, with the help of a grant and other support from ADB, is revamping its system of gathering and processing statistics.
