Ashgabat, 28 November 2007 (nCa) --- Midland Oil and Gas, a British company with offices in New York, has offered proposals for cooperation with Turkmenistan.
Robert Murphy, president of Midland, told President Berdymuhamedov in a meeting Tuesday that he had worked out the plans for close interaction with Turkmenistan, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
The proposals envisage introduction of new technologies for drilling in the Caspian sector of Turkmenistan and investment in the Turkmenbashy refinery.
Midland is unique in the sense that it is the only western company solely dedicated to doing business with Turkmenistan.
