A. nCa - News Central Asia - embodies the multi-tier, flexible concept of
modern journalism. At one level, we are a regional news agency, serving about
140 publications and media outlets worldwide.
At another level, we are a web-only publication, giving our visitors direct
access to what is happening in this region.
At yet another level, nCa is the hub of a growing cluster of publications, all
related to the Central Asian region.
Q. Is nCa a registered media company?
A. nCa is registered as a media company in Delaware, USA, since June 2003.
We are listed as a tax paying entity in Pakistan.
Q. Where is the editorial office of nCa?
A. Editorial office of nCa is located in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, where we
are working as an officially recognized private news agency.
Q. What is the editorial policy of nCa?
A. We believe that Central Asia belongs to Central Asians and no one has the
right to interfere in the region.
We believe that any relationship with the rest of the world must be based on
equality and mutual respect.
We believe that the land and the natural resources of Central Asia are the sole
property of the people of each sovereign country in the region.
We believe that Central Asia is not anyone's playground and we oppose any power
players who may be engaged in the so-called "New Great Game."
We believe that no one has the right to indulge in activities aimed at
destabilizing the region as a whole or any single country in the region.
Q. Is nCa an independent media organ?
A. nCa is a financially, administratively and editorially independent media
outlet. We generate enough revenues to finance our activities. nCa neither
solicits nor accepts any aid, grant, loan or any other kind of support from any
individual, organization or government.
Q. What is Greater Central Asia?
A. Greater Central Asia is a geographically contiguous region comprising of
the historically, culturally and religiously interconnected countries of
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Afghanistan
and Pakistan.
