The Afghan anti-corruption organizations are unanimous in their opinion that the corruption has reached new highs in the government’s financial institutions. This is the essence of a report published on 8 August 2020 by TOLOnews, one of the lead independent news and broadcasting networks of Afghanistan.
The report combines the opinion of representatives from the Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), the Independent Joint Anti-Corruption Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (MEC), the Integrity Watch Afghanistan (IWA), and some lawmakers.
